CryptoClips.io (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a crypto‑news aggregation and summarisation service delivered via the CryptoClips mobile apps and the cryptoclips.io website (the “Service”). Our legal entity is CryptoClips.io.

2. Scope of this Policy

This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to all visitors, registered users, and app downloaders worldwide.

Note: We do not request or process: precise GPS location, contacts, photos, wallet keys, or biometric identifiers.

4. How we collect data

Directly from you (forms, in‑app chat).
Automatically via SDKs and cookies.
From public sources (e.g., tweets, CoinGecko APIs) that may contain personal data already made public by the original poster.

5. Legal bases (GDPR) / grounds for processing

Performance of a contract – deliver the Service you request.
Legitimate interests – keep the Service secure, improve it, prevent fraud.
Consent – push notifications, marketing e‑mails, or analytical cookies. You can withdraw at any time from Settings.

6. How we use data

Deliver personalised crypto news feeds and push alerts.
Transform source material via OpenAI’s API to produce short summaries.
Display ads (if enabled) and measure their performance.
Monitor stability, debug crashes, and deter bots.

7. Sharing & disclosure

8. International transfers

We rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards when transferring data outside your jurisdiction.

9. Retention

Account data – kept while you have an account + 12 months.
Diagnostics logs – max 24 months.
Aggregated or fully anonymised statistics may be retained indefinitely.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, request portability, and object to processing of your data.

Inside the app, go to Settings → Privacy or e‑mail: support@cryptoclips.io to exercise rights or Delete Account.

11. Children

The Service targets users aged 16+. If we learn we hold data from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

12. Security

We use TLS‑encrypted transport, least‑privilege cloud roles, periodic penetration tests, and have an incident‑response plan.

13. Changes

We will post any material changes here and notify you via in‑app message or e‑mail 7 days before they take effect.
